What the studio practices
The studio offers a clear mix of spin, Pilates and strength. Spin is the most visible, in sessions of 30 and 45 minutes, and it is often given a theme in the class name. Pilates appears in fusion classes that combine it with spin or other work, and there are core and pelvic floor classes that focus on the deeper muscles of the body.
For a lighter choice, the Pilates fusion classes and the sculpt and glow class run for 60 minutes and work the body on the floor and with light resistance.
How the week runs
Classes start as early as 6am and run through the day, with a noon session in the middle of the schedule. The busiest starts are at 5:30pm, noon, 6am and 6:45pm, and the busiest days of the week are Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday. Roughly a third of the classes fall in the morning, about a fifth at midday and about half in the evening.
The studio's facilitators are a steady group of about ten, and a handful of them teach most of the timetable. Their names appear across the spin, Pilates and strength classes, so the same faces often return week to week.
