What the studio teaches
Pilates is the practice at the heart of leibesuebung. The studio teaches Pilates Original Style, and the classes range from a gentle mat session to a more advanced class. Plus Pilates focuses on the core and pelvic floor, while Pilates Spice is pitched for people who already have some experience.
A second strand of classes is built around strength. Die Klassikerin is a barbell class for women, and Power up brings together barbells, kettlebells, cables and rings. SENSOFIT mixes balance, reaction and jumping in a circuit, with SENSOFIT+ adding music and cardio.
The shape of the week
Most classes take place in the evening, and a good share of the week begins before 9am. The busiest start times fall in the early evening, around 6pm and 6:30pm, with an 8am class also drawing a crowd. The schedule runs across the week, with Monday, Wednesday and Friday the busiest days.
Christina leads most of the classes, and a small team of facilitators covers the rest. Classes are taught in both German and English, so you can take part in whichever language suits you.
