What the practice is here
Pilates runs through almost every class at Reagan Fitness. The mat sessions come in several shapes: a lower body and core class, an upper body and core focus, a full body class and a version with added strength. Smaller parts of the timetable turn toward the core and pelvic floor, or toward focus and a stronger, more energetic pace.
Classes usually last 45 minutes, with the mat Pilates sessions running a little longer at 60 minutes. Small group training and a weight and measurements class keep to the shorter format.
How the week runs
Mornings carry most of the timetable. More than half the classes begin before noon, and about a third start before 9am, so the earliest starts at 5:15am fit before work. Midday and evening each hold about one in ten classes, and the latest start is 6pm.
Weekends take about a fifth of the classes, so there is room to practice outside the working week too. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are the busiest days for classes.
