What the classes are

Hot yoga and vinyasa lead the schedule, and flow classes are common too. Hot vinyasa, extra hot vinyasa and alignment classes give a steady practice with a clear focus on movement. Yin yasa and restore classes offer a slower counterpoint, and somatic yoga and yoga nidra appear less often.

The studio also runs a set of community classes at $5 a session. These include a somatic yoga class and a yoga nidra class, so the lower-cost options are not limited to one style.

The shape of the week

Classes run from 7am to 8pm, and the busiest start times are 8:30am, 12:30pm, 7am and 5:30pm. About half the schedule falls in the morning, and about a third starts before 9am, so early practice is a real part of the week. Midday classes are less common, at about one in ten.

Most classes are on Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Weekend classes make up about a fifth of the schedule, so the studio is active across the week.

& Yoga: questions and answers

When do classes usually start?

Most classes here run about an hour. Starts range from 7am to 8pm, and the busiest start times are 8:30am, 12:30pm, 7am and 5:30pm. Morning classes make up about half of the schedule, and about a third begin before 9am.

Are there lower-cost classes?

Yes, there are a few. The studio offers a $5 community class, a $5 somatic yoga class and a $5 yoga nidra class, along with several others at standard rates. The page does not list any pass options, so the single class price is what sets these apart.

What styles do the classes cover?

Hot vinyasa is the most common style, along with vinyasa and flow classes. Alignment, yin yasa, restore and restorative classes are also part of the mix, and yoga nidra and somatic yoga appear less often. Iyengar is offered in a few classes.

Is this a good place to start if I am new to yoga?

Yes. Hot yoga and extra hot vinyasa sit alongside gentler options like restore, restorative and yoga nidra, so a newcomer can choose a slower class to start. Jodye Hall, Lily Hamilton and Andrea Wagner are among the facilitators with the most classes.

Which days are busiest?

Most classes are on Monday, Tuesday and Friday, and weekend classes make up about a fifth of the schedule. Weekday evenings are also well represented, with about a third of classes starting in the evening.
