What the classes build
Pilates carries most of this collection. Reformer classes sit alongside tower and core work, and many are labeled with the words core and pelvic floor. The reformer and sweat classes often share a studio, so a week of practice can move between machine work and hot floor sequences without changing place.
Hot yoga and power styles make up the heat side. Hot vinyasa, Baptiste power yoga and Bikram beginner's yoga appear alongside hot Pilates and HIIT. Strong and Grounded in Pittsfield adds functional strength work with bands and hand weights.
How the week runs
Most classes are in the morning, with the busiest starts at 9:30am, 10am and 11am. Evening classes around 5:30pm and early classes from 5am also fill the week. Friday, Monday and Thursday are the busiest days.
Pittsfield and Great Barrington have the most classes here, with Latham and Clifton Park also represented. Dozens of facilitators lead the classes, and Julia R, Gabby and Michelle Pollard appear most often.
