What the short classes look like
Pilates is the backbone of this collection, and reformer classes are the style most often on the schedule. Rhinebeck Pilates runs a wide range of 30 minute sessions, from box progressions and ladder barrel work to springs and advanced mat, while Studio Love Pilates offers 45 minute reformer and sculpt classes.
Alongside the pilates work you will find strength sessions and somatic classes, along with a few focused on core, pelvic floor and balance. Classes marked strong are a small share of the list.
How the week runs
Most classes begin in the morning, and the busiest start times fall in late morning and mid-afternoon. Friday, Tuesday and Thursday carry the most classes. Weekend options are limited, with only about one in ten classes taking place on a Saturday or Sunday.
The short format suits a quick session before work, a midday break or a few minutes after the end of the day. Because the typical class runs 45 minutes, the 30 minute sessions are a useful option when time is tighter.
