A Warm Daoist Flow in the hot studio with the heat off, this class is a grounding, fluid practice held in the heat of our studio with the heating turned off allowing the natural warmth of the room, breath, and movement to gently open the body without intensity or strain. This class weaves together the mindful structure of yoga with the flowing intelligence of Daoist Qigong principles, creating a practice that feels both expansive and deeply regulating. Movement is guided by breath, intention, and the concept of qi—the vital life force that moves through the body’s meridians. Expect slow, continuous sequences that encourage ease over effort, softness over force, and awareness over achievement. We explore circular, wave-like movements that support joint mobility, spinal freedom, and energetic circulation, while yoga postures offer familiar grounding shapes to land into stillness and presence. Rooted in the Daoist principle of wu wei effortless action this practice invites you to move with your body rather than against it. The result is a subtle yet powerful shift: tension unwinds, energy redistributes, and the mind settles into clarity. This is a practice of listening. Of returning. Of letting the body lead, and the breath follow.
