What is taught at soi pilates

The studio is built around pilates. Reformer classes make up most of the schedule, with full-body and other reformer sessions, and mat pilates appears regularly alongside them. The studio also offers a few yoga classes, including yin and stretch work, and mobility sessions meant to keep the body moving with ease.

The classes are mostly lowercase in their labels and often carry a level in the name, so you can see at a glance whether a session is for all levels or more focused.

How the week runs

Practice here is spread across the day. About a third of the classes take place in the morning, starting as early as 7am, and about a third fall in the evening, with the latest start at 7:30pm. Midday classes are fewer, and a small number begin before 9am. Weekend classes make up about a fifth of the schedule.

The classes are typically an hour long, which makes it easy to fit a session into a workday or a weekend morning.
