About Studio A

Studio A sits in Moosinning, just outside Munich, and its week leans toward the morning and the evening. Most of its classes are Pilates and core work, with a good share of joy, balance and all-levels sessions. Jazz funk runs for adults and for children, so families can practice in the same place.

It suits you if

  • you want morning Pilates before work
  • you prefer structured core and balance work
  • you are bringing children to jazz funk

How the week runs

Studio A's classes cluster in the evening, with more than half of them starting after work, and about a third happen in the morning. The busiest start times are 8:30am, 10am, 6pm and 7pm, and the busiest days are Monday, Thursday and Friday. The studio does not run classes at midday or on weekends, so the week is built around early starts and evenings.

Most classes last about 55 minutes, which keeps the sessions compact and easy to fit around the day.

Pilates, jazz funk and the rest

Pilates is the backbone of the timetable, and it is joined by classes that focus on core and pelvic floor work, balance and strength. Several classes are marked for all levels, and a few carry a feeling of joy in their description, with playful choreography and music. Jazz funk gives adults and young people a different way of moving, with choreographies built from jazz and commercial dance.

For children there are two jazz funk groups, one for ages 9 to 11 and one for ages 12 to 15, both working on rhythm and coordination through modern music.

Pilates is one of the main threads here, alongside classes that focus on core and pelvic floor work and on balance. Jazz funk is also taught, for adults and for children in two age groups. Studio A also offers a gentler class called Aktiv & Gesund, which works on mobility, strength, coordination and endurance.

Which classes suit a beginner?

The Pilates classes, including the morning class Good Morning Pilates, work with breathing and targeted strengthening to build a stable center, healthy posture, and more mobility and balance.
