How the week runs
Summer Yoga's classes run mostly in the morning, beginning as early as 9am and finishing with starts as late as 10:30am. Friday is the busiest day of the week. Most classes last an hour, and a few are longer.
The studio's practice is yoga at its core, with a handful of facilitators sharing the teaching. Marina leads more classes than anyone else on the timetable.
Classes for core, pelvic floor and after birth
A good share of the classes at Summer Yoga are built around the core and the pelvic floor. Beckenboden Yoga is designed for women who want to strengthen the pelvic floor and build stability through the body's center, whether or not they are pregnant. Rückbildungsyoga is a postnatal class that supports a gradual return to strength and body confidence after the birth, and it welcomes women who come with or without their babies.
These classes sit alongside gentler and stronger yoga, so people with different levels of experience can find a class that fits their body on a given day.
