About Elite Gym

Elite Gym is a small studio in Stratford, on McCarthy Road, where the timetable is built around strength. Strong and strength sessions make up most of what is on offer, with core and pelvic floor work, Pilates and yoga beside them. It is a place to train with a steady routine rather than a single practice.

It suits you if

  • strength training is your main goal
  • you prefer morning sessions
  • you want structured one-hour classes

What the studio teaches

Elite Gym runs a handful of studios and dozens of classes across its week. Most of the timetable is strength-based, with Elite Strength, Elite HIIT and the Elite Athlete Program as examples. Strong sessions take up about a third of the classes, and strength work makes up about a fifth.

The rest is shared between core and pelvic floor work, Pilates and yoga, with a few classes in each. Elite Yoga and Elite Pilates give a slower counterpart to the high-effort sessions.

How the week runs

Most classes start in the morning, and about a fifth begin before 9am. Midday and early evening also see steady activity, with the busiest start times at 9:30am, noon, 3:30pm and 5:30pm. Weekends are quieter, with about one in ten classes falling on a weekend day.

Monday, Tuesday and Friday are the busiest days. Classes usually last 60 minutes, and the day runs from a 6:30am first start to a 5:30pm last start.

Who leads the classes

Colton Gill, Owen Duiker, Wendy Gomes and Melanie Mcinenly lead the most classes at the studio. No class in the timetable is paid as a pass, so you can book individual sessions.
