About Body Concept Vienna

Body Concept Vienna sits at Parisergasse 6 in the Innere Stadt and offers a wide range of movement and calm practices in one space. Dozens of classes across a handful of studios make it easy to combine strength work with stretching, Tai Chi or a gong session in the same week. Most of the week's classes fall in the evening, and the schedule also gives room to early mornings and weekends.

It suits you if

Strength, Pilates and stretching

The studio's main focus is full-body strength and control. Barre, Body Shape and Pilates Sculpt work the core, legs and glutes using controlled pulses and bodyweight sequences, while Pilates Mat builds balance and deep core strength. Many of these classes are described as low-impact, so they suit a wide range of bodies and fitness levels.

Alongside the strength work, there is a steady line of stretching and mobility. Yoga Stretching, Stretching and Barre-Stretch focus on lengthening muscles and improving flexibility. A smaller share of the schedule is given to Kundalini Yoga, meditation and Tai Chi for those who want something more inward.

Sound, Tai Chi and the shape of the week

Gong Meditation and sound bath sessions appear regularly on the schedule, along with Tai Chi and qigong classes. A Tai Chi and Chinese calligraphy workshop with Li Shufang is also listed as a longer session of about four hours. These classes suit people who want deep relaxation or a slower, more focused practice.

The shape of the week leans toward evenings, with most classes starting between 5pm and 8pm. Mornings from 7:15am and weekend sessions give other options for fitting practice into a busy schedule. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday are the busiest days.
