Studio props are available to use. WE WILL USE: at least 2 blankets, 2 blocks and a strap. (If joining us online, you can substitute with pillows, towels, books, a belt or scarf). Restorative yoga is a gentle, still style of yoga that involves long (5-20 minutes), passive holds in a series of restful poses. It is a wonderful complement to active yoga practice, and stands alone as a proven therapy for chronic stress, high blood pressure, insomnia, trauma from past physical injuries, and other all-too-common ailments. Poses are designed to release deep-rooted physical and mental tension, often with the support of blankets and blocks. *If possible, bring warmer layers of clothing (including socks or an extra blanket) as the body naturally cools when resting, and an eye cover / small hand towel. All Levels: Beginner Friendly, with some challenging options for Continuing Students
